Our summer program offers arts and crafts, music, dramatic play and large muscle play in a safe environment. To keep students on the path of learning all summer long, our program offers a Bible-based curriculum “Scripture Bites†that combines bible stories and the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards. On-site field trips include Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Science Museum, Fairfield Community Art Center, Drake Science Center and Paint & Play.

Springer’s Adventures in Summer Learning program for children entering grades 1 - 8 will run Jun. 22 - Jul. 17. The morning program provides small group strategic instruction in language arts, math, writing and group problem solving. Stories by the Riverside: A week-long day camp that allows students to exhibit their creativity through dramatic interpretation, documentary filmmaking and exhibition design. Campers will experience the stories of the Underground Railroad from a backstage view at the Freedom Center and an interactive escape experience at Camp Campbell Gard. Freedom Camps (for organized groups only): Two-hour camp sessions that presents three age-specific tours designed to teach children the difference between freedom and un-freedom, the stories of freedom struggles past and present, and how to say no to racism in today's world!

West Chester Academy of Music specializes in several fun and unique one-week camps for young children and teens throughout the summer months. There are daytime as well as evening offerings. The Jumbie Jam camp is a child-sized steel drum class, perfect for ages 4 and up, grouped according to age. Beginning guitar camps (ages 7 and up, starter guitar provided) and beginning piano camps (ages 5 and up) are offered, with a mini-recital at the end of camp to demonstrate the skills learned in just one week. Drama camps are also a big hit for summer creativity. The Music Pups program (ages birth - 4) has a summer session, which meets once a week for 10 weeks. West Chester Academy of Music also offers additional classes and private lessons for all ages during the summer.
